I'm going to have to take a pass today, guys. I have caught Chris's stomach flu. Spent the night vomiting and now it the explosive diarrhea. Ugh.

We have been planning to go to Vegas for the soft opening of the Sphere for a few months now. It took some time to pin Mike down, but he finally gave us a date and we make our plans. I was born there and had heard about major flooding before, but nothing like what it had to deal with this week. My heart goes out to the folks there. Spot came to claim Tina this morning. She tried to dig through the screen door and front door to get to her. I opened the door to pick up the cat plates and Spot raced into her. Tina immediately went to her and Mom carried us off. I let her go ( Read more... )

We found the little dark brown tabby kitten dead this morning. A tom from across the way had it. Poor little thing didn't stand a chance. I just hope Spot moves the last one now to someplace safe.
